Mosaic ATM is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a contract holder on the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
The SHIELD IDIQ is a multiple-award contract vehicle designed to enable the rapid delivery of innovative capabilities to support the warfighter with increased speed and agility. The contract encompasses a broad range of mission and technology areas critical to advancing homeland defense, including research and development, systems engineering, prototyping, experimentation, modernization, and sustainment. Task orders also incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning-enabled applications where appropriate.
Mosaic ATM supports the U.S. Department of War in developing cutting-edge solutions using artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, deep learning, and many other techniques. Recent sample projects showcase the expertise of our staff and how we are working to integrate powerful tools into our DoW customers’ existing technology stack to solve complex operational challenges.
With this new award, Mosaic ATM brings to the SHIELD program deep expertise in advanced research, systems engineering, operational analysis, artificial intelligence, and mission-focused prototyping. The company specializes in supporting complex, safety-critical systems through a combination of:

As a long-planned strategy, SHIELD will allow MDA and other DoD entities to rapidly issue orders under one enterprise flexible vehicle. The scope encompasses more than 19 work areas. The expansion of large, multi-award defense vehicles such as SHIELD underscores the complexity of today’s defense research and engineering environment.
