Mosaic ATM has been awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract through the Naval Research Program to develop the Trusted Research and Inference Decision Engine for Naval Tasks (TRIDENT), a secure, multi-agent AI system designed to enhance decision-making in maritime and intelligence operations.
TRIDENT will automate the ingestion, fusion, and synthesis of multi-source maritime and intelligence data, enabling rapid, trusted decision-making for Fleet and undersea warfare missions. By combining Mosaic ATM’s proven AI expertise with cutting-edge “Deep Research” capabilities, TRIDENT will deliver explainable, cross-domain situational awareness to support Navy operators and analysts in complex, data-rich environments.
This initiative continues Mosaic’s leadership in advancing AI-driven situational intelligence across critical government and defense applications. TRIDENT’s adaptable design will also provide dual-use potential, extending its benefits beyond a decision engine for naval tasks and contexts to broader mission environments requiring secure, explainable, and efficient AI-powered insights.
